The data centre in the Sydney metropolitan area faced critical challenges in maintaining stable and reliable cooling to ensure optimal operation of its servers and infrastructure. The data centre’s cooling system needed to be highly efficient and capable of handling varying loads while providing redundancy to prevent downtime in the event of a failure.
After the installation, the data centre experienced improved cooling efficiency and enhanced reliability. The inclusion of a redundancy configuration provided the peace of mind that even if one chiller required maintenance or downtime, the other three units could maintain uninterrupted cooling. This solution significantly reduced the risk of overheating, ensuring smoother operations and extending the lifespan of critical IT infrastructure.
To address this. Aqua Chiller supplied and installed 4 x 20kW chillers, configured with a central controller. The system was set up to operate on a 3-running. 1-redundancy configuration, ensuring continuous cooling, even during maintenance or unexpected system failures.
